"Bale King
bale processors allow the whole herd the same advantages the dominant ones take."

Feeding with a round bale feeder
limits feeding opportunities for the less dominant members of your herd.
Livestock have a definite social hierarchy. The individual's place in that order
determines when and how much it gets to eat. The boss cows eat first. They then
go to the bedding area and lay down.
The less dominant members now have an opportunity to feed. If they are hungry, they will feed. But, their defense instinct is to follow the dominant cows to the bedding area. As a result, the less dominant members don't take the time to eat their full ration.
With Bale King the ability to
bunk feed is a standard feature.
The bottom and top deflectors are both independently adjustable. For bunk feeding,
simply adjust the bottom deflector to lift the processed feed to the required
height. Now adjust the top deflector to redirect the feed down into the feed
bunk.
Bale King is also the ideal processor for stockpiling processed feed.
Give all your livestock the same feeding advantages the dominant ones take!
Why windrow feeding is better
Cattle are social animals. It's their natural defense instinct to stay together
and do the same thing at the same time. The dominant members lead and all the
others follow.
When the number of feeding stations are limited, the dominant members eat first. They then go to the bedding area to lay down. The less dominant members now have an opportunity to feed, but their defense instinct is to follow the dominant members to the bedding area.
If the less dominant members are hungry they will feed. That is not to say they will eat as much as they should, because their natural instinct is to follow the dominant members of the herd.
Windrow feeding gives every member of your herd the same opportunity to feed. The less dominant members will be able to start and finish feeding at the same time as the dominant members. They won't be pushed around as much, they'll be under less stress and overall herd performance may improve. Windrow feeding also makes it possible to ration feed.

Give all your livestock the same bedding advantages the dominant ones take!
Without proper bedding the cows udders get dirty. Contaminated udders may affect the health of your calves.
Bale King helps ensure clean, dry bedding for all your livestock - not just the dominant ones. Your entire herd will be cleaner, more comfortable and more profitable.
With Bale King's superior processing and spreading abilities, it is the ideal bale processor for spreading mulch for erosion control on the hills, runways, ditches and land reclamation projects. It is also ideal for odor control on lagoons.

Spreading mulch can be used to control weeds in shelter belts or help protect specialty crops like strawberries and ginseng. In orchards a uniform layer of mulch is the ideal cushion.
Bale King can also be used to spread a uniform layer of straw inside poultry barns, calving huts, open front cattle shelters and hog shelters.
You'll get fast uniform spreading in a fraction of the time, without a pitchfork or strings.
You'll also reduce the risk of personal injury caused by being in the way of the cow trying to get to that fresh bedding bale.
Models 3010 & 3110
With
Bale Kings' 10 series bale processors you can feed a Total Ration in one pass.
These units come with a built in grain hopper and discharge auger that allows
you to "top dress" the windrow with grain as you process your bales.
Your livestock get a total ration and you save time.
The discharge auger is hydraulically driven and comes with a flow control valve. Discharge speed is easily adjusted to meter the required amount of grain.
Improved feed utilization
Livestock love grain. Top dressing the windrow is probably the best way to improve
the utilization of old or lower quality bales. Your livestock will clean up
the windrow as they eat the grain trickling down through the windrow.
You can top dress with grain, chop, rolled grain and supplements all in one pass. The 10 series of Bale King processors can be used for both windrow and bunk feeding. By turning off the hydraulically driven grain metering auger you can still process bales for bedding or feeding without top dressing.
